Bahubali, is one of the most awaited film of the year and many fans are busy trying to get one ticket to experience the epic on large screen as soon as possible. The movie is releasing on this Friday and the rush for the tickets has grown higher than ever. While many fans are eager about the movie and trying to figure out “Why Kattappa Killed Bahubali?” But they are being subjected to overpriced tickets and unprecedented rush seems to have given way for greed in theatre owners as well.
Many fans are daring the hot sun to secure at least one ticket but the exhibitors and distributors are showing enormous greed in deciding the ticket rates. Even though the governments of both the telugu states have issued strict directives to not increase the ticket prices, the theatre owners are quoting improbable rates up to Rs.2000 per ticket. Also, for those fans who pre-booked days before on various online booking sites, the ticketing sites are issuing refunds and half apologies too.
While, few people feel it is fine to spend so much for this film, many are hurt with this exploitation. A family cannot spend thousands on one film even though how much ever epic it is and it would be advisable for theatre owners and distributors to understand this and sell tickets for normal prices than at these hiked prices.
