Recall how Saif Ali Khan was sentenced to time in prison after punching an NRI in the face, causing a broken nose.
Saif Ali Khan, who normally doesn’t get involved in many violent episodes, once lost control at the Taj Hotel and attacked an NRI company almost ten years ago. Saif’s actions attracted notice, and as a result, he was even taken into custody. This demonstrates how significant it was.
Saif has a long history in the business and has developed into a very diverse actor throughout the course of his illustrious career, earning both the Padma Shri distinction and a National Award. He is presently getting ready for his next Adipurush, in which he will play the role of Ravan; fans are eager to see him in it as his absence from the film’s advertising has increased people’s interest in it.
Saif Ali Khan and Iqbal Sharma, an NRI businessman, got into a physical altercation in 2012 at the renowned Taj Hotel’s Wsabi restaurant. According to a report, the businessman has filed a complaint against Saif. The actor was allegedly charged with punching Iqbal in the face and breaking his nose. After pictures of Agent Vinod with ripped shirts began appearing in the media, he later addressed the issue during a press conference for his movie. He spoke, “This is not a publicity stunt. I hope this matter gets sorted out soon. I feel sorry for what has happened.”
In addition to mentioning that they mistreated the women who were with Saif at the time in the restaurant, Saif Ali Khan explained how the businessman was to blame because his father-in-law had struck him first. He spoke, “I was hit first. And as shocking as it may seem, the elderly gentleman hit me. I’m not sure what provoked him. I was only defending myself. I don’t think any gentleman would have behaved any differently than I did. I am confident that justice will be done. I think they (police) have the CCTV footage from the restaurant, and that will prove everything.” He was released on bail the same day and lodged a counter-complaint against him.
