Biography:

Indian actress, dancer, and model Vishnupriya Ramchandran Pillai was born in Bahrain and goes by her moniker, Vishnupriya. Her career began with her participation in the Asianet-aired dancing reality show Vodafone Thakadimi. In 2007, she made her acting debut in the supporting role in Speed Track. She later portrayed the main character in Keralotsavam (2009), and her performance in Penpattanam (2010) garnered her recognition. She has since acted in a number of supporting parts in movies. Her first appearance in Tamil movie was in Naanga (2011). She had participated in the 2013 AMMA show. In addition, she has appeared on Flowers TV’s reality show Star Challenge. She and Ram Arun Castro costarred in the Tamil movie V1 in 2019.

“Arun Castro and Vishnu Priya adapt themselves well and shine in the given characters,” one critic wrote in a review of the movie, while another said that “Ram Arun and Vishnupriya are apt in their respective roles.” Bahrain is where Vishnupriya was born and raised. She received her education at The Indian School in Bahrain and graduated from The Birla Institute of Technology International Center with a BBA. During her school years, she had competed in a number of events and won the Bharata Natyam Inter-School Championship.
