Vishesh Bhatt

Biography:

Indian filmmaker Vishesh Bhatt specializes in Hindi cinema. His father, Mukesh Bhatt, and uncle, renowned Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, own the film production company Vishesh Films, which bears his name. He attended USC, NYU, and the Tisch School of Arts to study filmmaking. At the age of 32, he currently oversees strategy, content development, creatives, marketing, and all digital activities at Vishesh Films, including one of the biggest and first online partnerships with Amazon.

As a writer, director, and producer, Vishesh has produced a number of successful franchises with up-and-coming talent. He created and produced “Jannat” at the age of 21, the first movie about the dark side of cricket, India’s most beloved sport. The movie went on to become a tremendous blockbuster and a major franchise. At the age of 27, he also directed the popular franchise Murder, which was chosen for the Shanghai Film Festival and other local honors. He just received an invitation to lecture at Harvard Business School about how Bollywood and Bollywood outside of India are evolving.
