Thanuja Puttaswamy

Biography:

Thanuja Gowda was born in Bengaluru, Karnataka, on March 5, 1992. She received her degree from Bangalore University after finishing her education. She had a keen interest in acting and performance from an early age, which ultimately inspired her to seek a career in entertainment. The Kannada horror movie 6-5=2 (2013) marked Thanuja’s cinematic debut as an actress. But the Telugu television series Muddha Mandaram (2014–2019), in which she portrayed Parvathi, was her big break. The figure became one of the most recognizable faces on Telugu television after striking a deep emotional chord with the audience.

After becoming popular in Telugu TV, Thanuja appeared in Tamil serials such Vijay TV’s Siva Manasula Sakthi (2019–2020). Later, she made a comeback to Telugu television with series like Agnipariksha, demonstrating her adaptability and capacity to emotionally engage viewers.

Thanuja Gowda would rather keep her private life out of the public eye. She is still committed to her career development and continues to receive recognition for her hard work, passionate performances, and commanding on-screen persona. As the first competitor on Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9, Thanuja Gowda immediately attracted notice with her self-assured entrance and emotional fortitude.
