After earning his M. Tech in thermal engineering, Teja spent some time working for a software company. Later on, he quit because he wanted to pursue his interest in creating content.

In 2020, Teja created his own food and entertainment vlogs on YouTube under the name Tasty Teja, often collaborating with friends. Teja quickly gained notoriety and began filming celebrity food vlogs.
