Sujit Sen, an esteemed Indian writer, made his notable Bollywood debut in 1982 with the film “Arth.” Sen contributed to many acclaimed films, including “Saaransh” (1984), “Prahaar: The Final Attack” (1991), “Angaar” (1992), “Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke” (1993), and “Dil Vil Pyar Vyar” (2002). His career was both illustrious and controversial.
Sen also wrote the popular 2001 television detective series “C.A.T.S” and authored several Bengali novels. Tragically, he passed away on August 28, 2005, in Mumbai, India. His posthumous work “Life’s Good” (2018), inspired by his life experiences, serves as director Ananth Mahadevan’s tribute to him.
