Sreya Jayadeep, born on November 5, 2005, is an accomplished Indian singer recognized for her exceptional talent across various South Indian languages. By the age of fourteen, she had already amassed an impressive portfolio, having recorded over 60+ films, 200 devotional albums, and 70 general albums.
Her musical journey began early in life, starting music lessons at the age of three. She received training in classical music under Thamarakkad Krishnan Namboodiri and received guidance in various genres from playback singer Sathish Babu. Sreya attended Silver Hills Higher Secondary School and later moved to Devagiri CMI Public School, where she continued her education while pursuing her musical career.
Sreya gained early recognition by winning prestigious titles such as Surya TV’s ‘Surya Singer – 2013’ (Malayalam) at the age of 8 and Sun TV’s ‘Sun Singer – 2014’ (Tamil). Her foray into playback singing commenced with the Malayalam film “Weeping Boy” in 2013, where she delivered two songs, “Chema Chema Chemanoru” and “Thaaraattupaattum.”
