Indian actor, presenter, comedian, and theater director Sourav Das (occasionally spelled Saurav Das) works in Bengali theater, film, and television. In addition to his performances in the web series “Montu Pilot,” “Charitraheen – Seasons 1, 2, and 3,” and “Rahasya Romancha – Season 3,” he is most recognized for Dum Dum Digha Digha and Bolo Dugga Maiki.
He received his diploma from Kolkata’s South Point High School. After joining the theater, he began his acting career by portraying Birsa Basak, the younger brother of Arjun, the series’ protagonist, in the Zee Bangla TV series Boyei Gelo. With the Onir-directed Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz, he made his Bollywood film debut. Renowned Bengali filmmakers Anjan Dutt, Arindam Sil, Birsa Dasgupta, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee, and Raj Chakraborty have collaborated with him. He debuted as a playback vocalist in Chore Chore Mastuto Bhai, a Zee Bangla Cinema Original. On December 15, 2023, Das wed actress Darshana Banik.
