Sananth

Biography:

Actor Sananth is from India and has acted in Tamil films. Sananth first appeared in a number of short films before making his feature film debut in Demonte Colony (2015), a horror film directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu. Sananth appeared in a number of short films prior to his big-screen debut. Rathnakumar was the director of his 2013 short film Madhu. Madhu was chosen to appear in the anthology film Bench Talkies, which was subsequently turned into the feature film Meyaadha Maan.

After that, Sananth portrayed a major figure in the horror movie Demonte Colony. In 2016, he starred alongside Siddharth and Avinash Raghudevan in Jil Jung Juk, a dark comedy that was his second feature film. His next role was in the online series As I’m Suffering From Kadhal, which was created and directed by Balaji Mohan.

Then, working opposite actors Prabhu Deva and Indhuja Ravichandran in Karthik Subbaraj’s silent thriller drama Mercury (2018), Sananth achieved his breakthrough as a lead actor.

In 2019, Sananth worked with Karthik Subbaraj once more on Petta, which was his most prominent part to date. Sananth portrayed college student Anwar, who is protected by Rajinikanth’s title character, as part of an ensemble cast that also included Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Rajinikanth. The movie received mixed-to-positive reviews when it first came out, and it was a box office hit.

He worked with Karthik Subbaraj for the third time in 2022 on Mahaan, where he played a significant part. Vikram, Dhruv Vikram, and a few performers from Petta’s cast, including Bobby Simha, Simran, Aadukalam Naren, and Ramachandran Durairaj, are featured in the movie. The movie received mostly favorable reviews when it debuted on Amazon Prime Video.
