Biography:

Sagar is an Indian screenwriter who worked on the critically acclaimed criminal drama series Paatal Lok on Amazon Prime Video. The program was well-received by critics and took home multiple honours, including Best Original Story (Series) at the Filmfare OTT Awards and Best Original Screenplay at the Asian Television Awards. Sagar was a senior advertising copywriter for a number of well-known companies before deciding to pursue a career in screenwriting. In addition to writing additional screenplay and language for Amit Kumar’s most recent Amazon Prime Video Original series, The Last Hour, with Oscar winner Asif Kapadia serving as Executive Producer, Sagar co-wrote Gandhi of the Month, a drama film starring Oscar nominee Harvey Keitel. Sagar most recently wrote dialogue for the film Tadka, starring Tapsee Pannu and Nana Patekar. In addition to working on a book adaptation and a format adaptation for two prominent Indian production companies, Sagar has finished the preliminary development of a series adaptation of a well-known Indian book franchise.
