Renuka Menon

Biography:

Renuka Menon is a former Indian actress known for her work primarily in Malayalam cinema, with appearances in a few Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada language films. In 2005, she ventured into the Tamil and Kannada film industries with roles in “February 14,” where she co-starred with Bharath, and “News,” alongside Upendra. That same year, she also featured in another Tamil film, “Daas,” with Jayam Ravi. However, her foray into these industries did not yield notable successes.

In 2006, Renuka Menon continued her acting career, appearing in the Malayalam film “Vargam” opposite Prithviraj, with whom she had previously worked in “Meerayude Dukhavum Muthuvinte Swapnavum” in 2003. She also took on roles in the Tamil film “Kalabha Kadhalan,” where she starred alongside Arya, and the multi-starrer “Pathaaka.” Notably, her film “Madhan,” directed by actor Jai Akash and featuring Sunaina, experienced significant delays and was anticipated for release in late 2009.

Following her marriage to a software engineer based in the United States in November 2006, Renuka Menon decided to step away from acting. She is now dedicated to her personal life and runs a dance school in California. She and her husband have two daughters, and she has transitioned into a different chapter in her life after her acting career.
