Pugazh

Biography:

Pugazhendhi is an Indian comedian and actor who is also referred to as Pugazh or Parattai Pugazh. He became well-known after he and Comali appeared on Star Vijay’s Cooku. Pugazh was born in Cuddalore on November 14, 1990. He received his education at Thirupapuliyur’s Sri Padaleswarar Secondary School and St. Joseph’s High School. In 2022, Pugazh wed Benzi Riya. In September 2023, their lone daughter was born.

After making an appearance as a ‘comali’ in Cooku with Comali, Pugazh rose to notoriety. His humor and mimicry are well-known. Despite helping Pugazh try out for Kalakka Povathu Yaaru, Udayaraj of Baana Kaathadi fame was not chosen. Unfazed, he continued working at Vijay TV as a computer serviceman before costarring with Dheena in Sirippu Da. He was later chosen and given the chance to compete in Cooku with Comali after his triumph in Kalakka Povathu Yaaru. He had multiple invitations to appear in Tamil films as a result of his performance on the show. Since making his film debut in Sixer, he has starred in more films, such as Cocktail and Sabhaapathy.
