Cinematographer Preetha Jayaraman is from India. She is the niece of P. C. Sreeram, a well-known cinematographer. Jayaraman became a well-known cinematographer after being greatly influenced by her uncle’s field work. She has shot short films, documentaries, music videos, TV commercials, and feature films. She and Prakash Raj work together a lot. She gained notoriety after working for Abhiyum Naanum (2008). She took home the Wonder Women Awards’ “Best Cinematography Award” in 2019. She is among the four first female members of the Indian Society of Cinematographers.
