Om Bhutkar , born 1 March 1991, is an acclaimed Indian actor known for his work in Marathi cinema, with occasional roles in Hindi films. He began his acting journey with the 2004 Hindi film Chhota Sipahi, earning the National Film Award for Best Child Artist—a prestigious recognition that marked a promising start to his career.

Bhutkar rose to prominence with his powerful performance in the 2018 crime drama Mulshi Pattern, a turning point that solidified his position in the Marathi film industry. His filmography includes a wide range of critically acclaimed titles such as Deool (2011), Ajoba (2014), Lathe Joshi (2016), Faster Fene (2017), and Nude (2018), showcasing his versatility and depth as a performer.

Beyond cinema, Om Bhutkar is a passionate theatre artist. He is known for Sukhan, a celebrated mehfil blending Urdu literature and Hindustani classical music. A gifted poet as well, he writes under the pen name ‘Maghloob’ in Urdu, alongside his work in Marathi poetry.

In 2023, Bhutkar portrayed the historical figure Sane Guruji in Shyamchi Aai and appeared in the period romance Ravrambha, further demonstrating his range and commitment to meaningful storytelling.
