Since the age of three, Olivia Morandin has been passionate about dance and knew it was her calling. As a highly competitive dancer, she has dedicated her life to the art and thrives on performing for large audiences. Recognized for her versatility and energetic personality, she continues to make a name for herself in the dance world.
Her journey began in September 2011 with ballet classes at Surrey Dance Centre, before transitioning to DanceWest Studios in 2013. There, she expanded her skills across multiple dance styles, including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, tap, hip hop, stage, song and dance, and acrobatics. During her time at DanceWest Studios, Olivia earned numerous awards and scholarships, such as being a Merited Participant at the B.C. Provincials in 2019, competing at Synergy Dance Competition’s Provincials in 2018, performing at the Chilliwack Lions Club Honours Performance in 2019, and winning the title of Junior V.I.P at Jump Dance Convention later that same year.
Academically, Olivia is a dedicated student who enjoys exploring new subjects and participating in various activities. Known for her outgoing nature, she is both passionate and helpful. She was selected for the Challenge Program in both Grade 5 and Grade 6 through the Surrey School District. Outside of school and dance, she enjoys playing video games, golfing, and making lasting memories with friends.
In early 2020, Olivia made her television debut with appearances in the TV series Supergirl (CW) and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist (NBC).
