French musician and composer Nicolas Errèra was born in Francen May 21, 1967, and he is currently active worldwide. In addition to being a co-founder of the avant-garde electronica bands Grand Popo Football Club and Rouge Rouge, he writes television and movie soundtracks. o
Nicolas Errèra was raised by painters. His mother is a set designer, while his father is a dramatist. He is an only child. Paris was the place of his birth.
To earn his bachelor, he studied philosophy in addition to science. He joined the English theater director Peter Brook’s troupe as a teenager, and appeared in three plays with him.
He studied composition and piano with Max Deutsch and Serge Petigirard at the École normale de music de Paris in addition to his academic education. He received his first composition prize here. He also trained with composer Jeannine Richer in harmony and counterpoint.
He founded the electro-pop group Grand Popo Football Club in 1998 and Rouge Rouge in 2002. Both factions thereafter became linked to the French influence.
