Navinkumar Palanivel is an Indian filmmaker, writer, and director, working mainly in the Tamil digital entertainment arena. It was the Tamil crime thriller web series Thadayam (2026), where he made his directorial debut as the writer and director. In Thadayam, there is a complicated investigation involved which includes elements of suspense, mystery, and procedural drama, thus, marking the directorial entry of Palanivel into the world of promising talent for Tamil OTT content. Despite being early in his filmmaking career, the director has gained some fame because of his realistic and intriguing approach to creating thrillers and dramas.
