Nandhini JS

Biography:

Nandhini JS works as a director. She began her artistic career at FTIT (Film & Television Institute of Tamil Nadu) as a gold medalist studying screenwriting and direction. Her student short film “Ottam” earned her the coveted Tamil Nadu State Award for “Best Director” in 2003.

Also, the movie took home a State Award for “Best Editing.” ‘Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru’ (2009), a romantic comedy produced by Sathyam Cinemas and Real Image Media Technologies, with Ajmal Ameer, Rupa Manjari, and seasoned director Mouli, is the film for which she is most recognized. She self-published “Sivappu Kal Mookuthi,” the first Tamil digital comic book, and “Girl with a Red Nose Ring,” the English translation, in 2015.

She works as a Creative Producer at Make Believe Productions, a media production company based in Chennai that creates music videos, web series, corporate films, commercials, documentaries, and other types of video content. ‘Nila Nila Odi Vaa’, a Tamil vampire web series created by Viu India and Make Believe Productions, was written and directed by her in 2018. In the key parts are actors Ashwin Kakumanu and Sunainaa.

As of right now, she is finishing up the first season of an Original Series that will debut in the first quarter of 2024 on Amazon Prime Video. She is the show’s director, writer, and creative producer. Starring in key parts are Naveen Chandra, Sunaina, Srikrishna Dayal, Kumaravel, Kanna Ravi, Malini Jeevaratnam, Mishaa Ghoshal, and Rini. The film is produced by Make Believe Productions.
