Mushtaq Shiekh is an Indian actor, producer, writer, and scriptwriter. His screenplays for Ra.One, Om Shanti Om, and Billu are his most well-known works. Maharashtra is where Shiekh was born. He also wrote the Rangrezz script, which was directed by Priyadarshan. He wrote Still Reading Khan, a biography of Indian star Shahrukh Khan.
Shiekh is the author of multiple books regarding Indian cinema. While attending an Abu Dhabi book market, he remarked, “I wish more books were written about films for people who are genuinely interested in knowing how this art form is made.” In Mulk (2018), directed by Anubhav Sinha, he served as an associate producer. Additionally, he has served as a creative director for Sahara One, an Indian television network.
