Madhu Balakrishnan, born on June 24, 1973, is an Indian playback singer celebrated for his melodious renditions, primarily in the Malayalam language. His versatile talent extends to singing in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Tulu languages, marking his presence across diverse musical domains. With a repertoire spanning over 40 songs in films and numerous contributions to devotional albums, Balakrishnan has carved a distinctive place in the music industry.

Born to Balakrishnan and Leelavathy in Paravur, Eranakulam, on June 24, 1973, Madhu spent his formative years in Koratty, near Chalakudy, Thrissur. His educational journey commenced at Mar Augustine Memorial Higher Secondary School in Koratty. It was his mother who instilled in him a profound passion for music, serving as an early inspiration.

Relocating to Paravur, his ancestral home, Madhu Balakrishnan pursued his musical aspirations with dedication. He is happily married to Divya, the elder sister of Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth, anchoring himself within a family with diverse talents
