Lazaro Alonso (born March 25, 1974) is an American actor known for his roles in Avatar (2009) as Tsu’tey and Fast & Furious (2009) as the villain Fenix Calderon. He has also appeared in films such as Jarhead (2005), This Christmas (2007), Miracle at St. Anna (2008), and Detroit (2017). Since 2019, Alonso has been a main cast member of Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys, portraying Marvin T. “Mother’s Milk” Milk.
Born and raised in Washington, D.C., to Cuban immigrant parents, Alonso attended Howard University, earning a BBA in marketing. Before entering Hollywood, he worked as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch on Wall Street.
His early career included hosting A.M. @ BET and NYLA, as well as appearances in music videos for Toni Braxton and Aaliyah. Alonso’s television roles span guest appearances in Bones, CSI: Miami, NCIS, The Practice, and The Unit. He played a lead role in Breakout Kings (2011), starred in NBC’s Deception (2013), and was a series regular in The Mysteries of Laura.
In 2023, Alonso voiced the protagonist Terry/Sabo Brok in Netflix’s animated series My Dad the Bounty Hunter. He currently resides in Los Angeles, is fluent in French and Spanish, and identifies as a Christian.
