Biography:

Jhansi Laxmi is an Indian actress who works in Telugu films and television series. She is also a producer, theater practitioner, and television presenter. In 1994, she made her Telugu film debut. Nine Nandi Awards were given to her. Since starting her career in the Telugu cinema industry in 1994, Jhansi has played a variety of roles, earning a reputation for her depth and adaptability. Early in her career, she had memorable roles in comedy and tragic films such as Egire Paavurama, Chandralekha, Jayam Manadera, and Tulasi. Jhansi returned to the big screen in 2015 with character parts in movies like Pataas following a brief break.

Jhansi has also performed dubbing throughout her career, lending her voice to Telugu-dubbed movies. She has spent several decades working as a television presenter on a variety of Telugu shows. She has hosted programs like “Talk of the Town” on Gemini TV, “Sunday Sandadi” on ETV Telugu, and “Naveena” and “Chetana” on TV9.
