Biography:

Indian filmmaker, writer, and producer Jyoti Prakash Dutta is well-known for his work in Hindi cinema. Ghulami (1985), Yateem (1988), Batwara (1989), Kshatriya (1993), and Border (1997) are his most well-known directorial motion pictures. Additionally, he is well-known for producing epic, patriotic war films like Border (1997), LOC Kargil (2003), Paltan (2018), and the impending Border 2 (2026).

Nidhi Dutta and Siddhi Dutta are Dutta’s two daughters from his marriage to Bollywood actress Bindiya Goswami. In addition, Nidhi writes and produces films. According to authorities in the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, he served as the head of the National Film Awards (2010) feature film section jury.
