Ingrid Oliver

Biography:

British actress and comedian Ingrid Oliver was born on February 25, 1977. She is one half of the comedic duo Watson & Oliver. In the BBC television series Doctor Who, she portrayed Petronella Osgood, a supporting character.

Oliver first met Lorna Watson, her comedic collaborator, at Kingston upon Thames’ Tiffin Girls’ School. After that, she studied modern languages at Oxford’s New College. Watson and Oliver’s debut performance together took place at London’s Canal Cafe Theatre in September 2005. In 2006 and 2007, they brought sold-out performances to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Oliver has been in a number of radio and television shows, such as Doc Martin and The Penny Dreadfuls Present.
