Born on October 12, 1992, Harshita Shekhar Gaur is an Indian actress best known for her roles in the 2018 web series Mirzapur and the youth-oriented series Sadda Haq, where she portrayed Sanyukta Agarwal and Dimpy Pandit.
Born in New Delhi, Harshita Gaur was raised by a family of physicians. At Amity University in Noida, where she also participated in theatrical and creative societies, she finished her engineering degree. She began her career as a model and made her television debut when she accepted an offer from Sadda Haq while she was still studying her engineering degree. She completed her courses and was able to act.
In addition, Gaur has training in Kathak dancing and has danced in theatre productions all over India. She has also appeared in numerous ads for products including Sunsilk, Garnier light cream, and Dabur Vatika hair oil. Her most recent advertisement is for the Renault Kwid. She was chosen to play “Dimpy Pandit” in the Amazon Prime web series Mirzapur in 2018, and her performance received great appreciation. In Mirzapur’s second season, she reappears.
