Glen Barretto

Biography:

Glen Barretto is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, and director renowned for his contributions to Hindi cinema, television, and digital entertainment. He started off as an assistant director on some of the popular movies like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992), Pehla Nasha (1993), and Akele Hum Akele Tum (1995), under filmmaker Mansoor Khan. With vast experience in working behind the scenes of numerous projects, he moved on to directing television, directing episodes of hit TV serials like Woh (1998), Star Bestsellers (1999), Aasman Se Aage (2012), and Anamika (2012). He made his debut with the science fiction thriller Jaane Hoga Kya (2006) and went on to direct the fantasy movie Aao Wish Karein (2009).

Over the years, he has gained a reputation in the field of OTT with works like Qubool Hai 2.0 (2021), Roohaniyat (2022), Aar Ya Paar (2022), The Last Show (2021), and Kill Dill: The Heartbreak Club (2025). His work has been varied and ranges from romance to fantasy thriller, supernatural and action movies. With his stylish visuals and interesting narratives, Glen Barreto has established himself as a competent filmmaker for over three decades now.
