DJ Chetas

Biography:

Indian disc jockey and music producer Chetas Shah is better known by his stage name, DJ Chetas. His most well-known works are Bollywood remixes and mashups. On the DJ MAG Top 100 DJs list, DJ Chetas came in at number 33 in the world.

Shah is from Maharashtra’s Mumbai.  He stated in a Deccan Chronicle interview that “As a class 10 student, Chetas was lured into creating his first few remixes after witnessing a friend’s older brother mix two tracks together on his computer.”  He began his career by doing remixes and mashups of Bollywood songs. He was placed 59 in 2015 and 33 in 2016, making him the first Indian to appear in a DJ Mag’s Top 100.  Life is a Mashup was the title of his debut album. He then released a number of mashups and remixes, including MTV Beats House Party Dance Mix, Iqraar By Chance, Atif Mashups, Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai (remix), Jab Koi Baat (recreated), and more.Additionally, he wrote the soundtrack for a number of films, including Golmaal Again, All is Well, Indian Police Force, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, and Dilwale. In the IPL, he also served as an official DJ for the Kolkata Knight Riders.
