Deven Bhojani

Biography:

Deven Bhojani is an Indian actor and director with a notable career in theatre, particularly recognized for his Gujarati plays. He began his television career with Shankar Nag’s renowned show Malgudi Days in 1987. Bhojani is well-regarded for his comedic roles and supporting characters.

His work on Sarabhai vs Sarabhai earned him three prestigious directing awards, including the ITA Award, the Indian Telly Award, and the Apsara Award. A Gujarati by birth, Bhojani was raised in Mumbai, where he attended Gokalibai Punamchand Pitamber High School and later graduated in Commerce from SVKM’s NMIMS. He furthered his studies in film direction at the University of Southern California.
