The Kannada cinema business employs Chaluve Gowda, an Indian producer. He is the managing director and co-founder of the production business Hombale Films. For KGF: Chapter 2 and Kantara, he took home two National Film Awards.
Together with Vijay Kiragandur, Chaluve Gowda co-founded Hombale Films in 2013. In addition to some of the highest-grossing Telugu films like Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, he has produced a number of commercially successful films, including some of the highest-grossing Indian films like KGF: Chapter 2 and Kantara.
The School of Film, Media, and Creative Arts was established in Bengaluru in 2024 by Hombale Films in collaboration with RV University. In May 2025, he attended the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting’s WAVES Summit 2025 in Mumbai.
