Bindhumalini Narayanaswamy, also known as Bindhumalini, is an Indian graphic designer, vocalist, and composer. For her songs in the film Nathicharami, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer-Kannada (2019) and the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer (2018). She has written and recorded songs in Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada for films and albums.
Bindumalini was born into a musical household in Chennai. Her grandmother Seetha Doraiswamy was a well-known Jal Tarang instrumentalist, and her mother N. Vishalakshi is a trained Akasvani Carnatic singer. She graduated from the National Institute of Design with a degree in graphic design. Bindumalini wed Bangalore-based vocalist Vasu Dixit, who is the leader of the folk-rock fusion band Swarathma.
