Athmiya Rajan, an Indian actress renowned for her work in Malayalam and Tamil cinema, hails from Kannur, Kerala.

Graduating in Nursing from Shree Devi College of Nursing, Mangalore, she ventured into acting, marking her debut as a lead in the Tamil film “Manam Kothi Paravai,” opposite Sivakarthikeyan, portraying a village belle. Subsequently, she showcased her versatility in Ranjan Pramod’s “Rose Guitarinaal,” depicting an airline trainee caught amidst romantic entanglements.

Critics lauded her expressive performance, with Malathi Rangarajan of The Hindu praising her nuanced portrayal.

Athmiya continued to captivate audiences with roles in films like “Pongadi Neengalum Unga Kadhalum” (2014) and “Amoeba” (2016).
