Biography:

Indian actress Asha Shelar is well recognized for her roles in the Marathi cinema and television industry.Shelar, a graduate of Mumbai’s Lala Lajpat Rai College, had a prosperous acting career and rose to prominence in Marathi media. Her contributions to television and movies are noteworthy, and even in brief on-screen appearances, her performances are regularly praised.She made an appearance on television as Sashikala in the Marathi drama Honar Sun Me Hya Gharchi, which centers on a girl navigating life with six mothers-in-law. In the Zee Marathi drama Khulata Kali Khulena, she portrayed Aatya, the male lead.Several Marathi films are among her film credits.

Shelar portrayed the mother of the female lead in the feature film Nadi Vahate, which is based on the preservation of little village waterways. She also played the mother of the male lead who battles his late father’s loans in the 2017 film Gachchi, which focused on the financial hardships of its main characters.
