The founder of Desi Music Factory (DMF) and Play Desi Music Factory (PlayDMF) is Anshul Rajendra Garg, an Indian music producer. Garg won the Best Producer prize at the 2024 Iconic Gold Awards for his song Guli Mata, which was in the Non-Film Song category.
Garg was born on May 8, 1992, in Dholpur, Rajasthan. The Indian Institute of Planning and Management in Delhi is where he earned his BBA. Garg ran Kinbuck 2, a Delhi restaurant he founded in 2015, before to going into the music business. He met Tony Kakkar, the brother of pop artist Neha Kakkar, at an event. This led to the establishment of Desi Music Factory (DMF), a record company that he and Tony co-founded in 2016. Akhiyaan, their debut single, featured Neha Kakkar, Tony Kakkar, and Bohemia.
