Ankush Mohla

Biography:

Ankush Mohla is an Indian film-maker, author, actor, and director who has made a name for himself through his vast experience in Hindi television and digital entertainment. Starting out as an actor in films like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992) and Ghulam (1998), Ankush Mohla switched roles behind the lens. After a decade-long journey in television as a director, Mohla has created a series of shows that include Woh (1998), Star Bestsellers (1999), Ssshhhh… Koi Hai (2001–2004), Shree (2008), Pardes Mein Mila Koi Apna (2011), Aasman Se Aage (2012), Everest (2014-2015), and Anamika. Through a wide range of genres like horror, drama, adventure, and romance, he has proved his mettle as one of television’s experienced directors.

Mohla then went on to create digital entertainment content with shows like Qubool Hai 2.0 (2021), Roohaniyat (2022), Aar Ya Paar (2022), and Kill Dill: The Heartbreak Club (2025). As a versatile director, with excellent storytelling skills and an ability to handle themes like romance, suspense, action, and supernatural, he has proven his capabilities in the digital world as well.
