Amruta Fadnavis

Biography:

Amruta Fadnavis, born on April 9, 1979, is an accomplished Indian figure known for her diverse roles as a banker, actress, singer, and dedicated social activist. Her journey into prominence was further amplified due to her marriage to Devendra Fadnavis, the current Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

Hailing from Nagpur, Maharashtra, she was born to Sharad Ranade, an ophthalmologist, and Charulata Ranade, a gynaecologist. Amruta’s educational journey commenced at St. Joseph Convent School in Nagpur. She displayed early talent as a state-level under-16 tennis player. She pursued higher education at G.S. College of Commerce and Economics in Nagpur and later completed an MBA in finance. Her passion for learning led her to study taxation laws at Symbiosis Law School in Pune.

Amruta embarked on her professional journey with Axis Bank in 2003, initially serving as an executive cashier. Her dedication and expertise propelled her to lead the Axis Bank business branch in Nagpur.

Beyond her banking career, she has ventured into various spheres, representing India at the National Prayer Breakfast – 2017, a significant international peace initiative graced by U.S. President Donald Trump.
