Irish actor Allen Leech was born on May 18, 1981. He is well-known for playing Paul Prenter in the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) and Tom Branson in the ITV period drama Downton Abbey (2010–2015).
Leech’s first significant film part was as Vincent Cusack in Cowboys & Angels (2003), and he was nominated for an Irish Film & Television Award for his portrayal of Mo Chara in Man About Dog (2004). He also had his professional acting debut in the 1998 production of A Streetcar Named Desire. In the 2007 HBO historical drama series Rome, Leech portrayed Marcus Agrippa.
