Ali Haji is an Indian actor best known for his role as Shay Sharma in Yoodlee Films’ Noblemen (2018), directed by Vandana Kataria. His portrayal of a troubled adolescent grappling with loss and innocence at a new school earned him the Best Child Actor award at the New York Indian Film Festival.
Prior to this breakout role, Haji appeared in smaller roles such as Rehan Qadri Jr., the son of characters played by Aamir Khan and Kajol in Fanaa, and Ranveer Singh “Champ” in Ta Ra Rum Pum (2007), where he played the son of characters portrayed by Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji. He also had supporting roles in Partner (2007), Drona (2008), Right Yaaa Wrong (2010), Paathshaala (2010), and Super 30 (2019). Additionally, he played Suraj Sinha in Line of Descent alongside Brendan Fraser.
Born on October 30, 1999, Ali Haji has ventured into directing with his first feature film, Justice For Good Content. He is also a writer for the web series United Kacche, starring Sunil Grover, which has become one of the most-watched shows on ZEE5.
