Alejandro Edda is a Mexican-American actor who was born on May 17, 1984. He is well known for his appearances as Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán in the Netflix original series Narcos: Mexico (2018–2021) and Marco Rodriguez in the AMC television series Fear the Walking Dead (2016). In seasons five and six of the FX television series Snowfall, he also plays Ruben, a KGB spy. He provides the voice of Agent Ricardo “Ricky” Sandoval in Ghost Recon: Wildlands (2017), Manny in The Last of Us Part II (2020), and Gustavo in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
Additionally, he has acted in Hollywood productions, such as Jorge Luis Ochoa Vásquez in American Made (2017), Big Jim in Reality High (2017), and Pancho the Cop in the romantic comedy Sundown (2016). Additionally, Edda starred in the July 2021 theatrical release of the action horror movie The Forever Purge.
