Biography:

Neha Kakkar Singh, born on June 6, 1988, in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, is a highly acclaimed Indian playback singer. She is renowned for her dynamic and versatile vocal abilities and is the younger sister of fellow playback singers Tony Kakkar and Sonu Kakkar.

Neha Kakkar’s journey in the music industry began at an early age when she started performing at religious events. In 2005, she gained recognition by participating in the second season of the singing reality show Indian Idol. Although she was eliminated early in the competition, it marked the beginning of her musical career.

Her Bollywood debut as a chorus singer came in the film “Meerabai Not Out.” However, it was the release of the dance track “Second Hand Jawaani” from the movie “Cocktail” in 2012 that propelled her to fame. Following this success, Neha Kakkar delivered a series of popular party songs, including “Sunny Sunny” from “Yaariyan” and “London Thumakda” from the soundtrack album of “Queen.”

In addition to playback singing, Neha Kakkar has ventured into music videos and has served as a judge on various television reality shows, notably “Indian Idol.”
