Born on October 15, 1997, Digangana Suryavanshi is an Indian actress, singer, and writer best recognised for her roles in Telugu and Hindi films.After making her television debut in Hindi, Suryavanshi went on to make movie appearances. ‘Veera’ from the StarPlus TV series Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera was her breakthrough role.In 2015, she also appeared in the reality series Bigg Boss 9.Her film debuts were in FryDay (2018) in Hindi, Hippi (2019) in Telugu, and Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale (2019) in Tamil.
Neeraj and Sarita Suryavanshi are the parents of Suryavanshi, who is their only child.At Mithibai College, where she took her 12th board exams, she was present for the filming of Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera.Digangana is an MBA student at Mumbai’s Narsee Monjee College.
At the age of seven, Suryavanshi began her career as a child artist. In 2002, she made her television series debut with Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat. Suryavanshi wrote, composed, and performed a song titled “I’m missing you” when she was fourteen years old. She dedicated the song to her grandmother.Suryavanshi has also appeared in supporting roles in television series such as Krisshna Arjun, Ruk Jaana Nahin (2011–12), and Shakuntala (2009). Playing the title role in the StarPlus soap opera Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera (2012–15), Suryavanshi got her big break. She was the youngest celebrity contestant to ever compete in the reality show Bigg Boss, having turned 17 in 2015.The 7th of December 2015 saw her removed from the show.Suryavanshi took part in Season I of Box Cricket League, an Indian sports reality television series.
FryDay and Jalebi, Suryavanshi’s two Bollywood debuts, marked his breakthrough. October 12, 2018, saw the release of both films.In the January 18, 2019 release of the film Rangeela Raja, Suryavanshi starred alongside Govinda in the lead role.
Krishnan K.T. Nagarajan directed the Telugu film Hippi, in which Suryavanshi portrayed the lead role.Hemanth Kumar, a writer for Firstpost.com, stated that Suryavanshi “may be the only character in the film who took her role too seriously, but she does a good job in it.” She constantly demonstrates the body language and attitude that the part calls for, from the first scene to the last.”
