Budget constraints for Nikhil’s next?

It is widely known that noted hero Nikhil is working on a project titled, Karthikeya 2 under the direction of Chandu Mondeti. Said to be a sequel to the 2014 hit, Karthikeya, the second installment is being bankrolled by People Media Factory banner.

Meanwhile, the latest buzz among industry sources is that the makers have already invested a whopping of Rs 30 crore on the project to date and are in no mood to invest more money. Reportedly, the makers are worrying as they have invested more than Nikhil’s market value and are in a heat discussion with the film’s director Chandu Mondeti regarding the same.

Will the film complete it’s shooting part smoothly or else will be shelved due to budget constraints? Remains to be seen.
