Anushka to play the role of Jyothika?

Anushka Shetty proved herself as one of the most loved actresses in South Cinema. She is highly popular in Tamil and Telugu, because of her movies like Rudramadevi, Arundhati, Singam series and Baahubali series. She proved to be a box office force with her recent film, Bhaagamathie. The movie did not have any known cast to Telugu audience, except for her and still, the movie pulled a huge number of audience to theatres during Republic day weekend.

This made many producers think about a subject that will center around Anushka Shetty. But the actress due to her weight issues hasn’t been on the number one choice list of big productions. The actress wants to address that health issue first and then decide on the next films. She is working hard to find a way to reduce her weight. Now, Bala wants to remake his new film, Nacchiyar with her.

Jyothika played a badass cop in the movie and the same character is being designed for Anushka too. Kalpana Koneru bought the dubbing and remake rights of the film. The producers wanted to release the movie in Telugu, as a dubbed film but Bala wants to remake it in Telugu. The producers and director are looking to approach Anushka soon and if she doesn’t accept, then the movie will release as a Telugu dubbed version here. We have to wait and see, what will be the reaction of Anushka.
