Amala Paul gets bail

Actress Amala Paul has been arrested by Kerala Police, in the case of providing wrong information to escape the tax on a luxury car. The actress and Malayalam actor, Fahad Fassil have been arrested in this regards and a case has been registered in 2017.

The actor attended the police investigation and got a bail, to continue in his work in December 2017, itself. But the actress, Amala opined that she did not do any wrong and maintained that she will fight the case in the court. Kerala Court asked her to first surrender to police and then appeal for her side.

She went and surrendered to Tiruvanthapuram Magistrate and the police took her in remand. Today, Court issued her a bail for Rs. one lakh security deposit and granted a bail for her. She will have to appear on the further date as this is seen as a serious offence and smuggling of luxury goods. She almost had to pay, 20 lakhs as tax but escaped from doing so!
