Ritu Varma, an actress, claims that her character in Modern Love Chennai closely resembles her in real life.
Ritu Varma, an actress who plays Mallika in the recently launched anthology series Modern Love Chennai, has revealed that she related to her character fairly well because in real life she is a hopeless romantic.
Ritu appears in the six-episode television series Modern Love Chennai’s episode named Kaadhal Enbadhu Kannula Heart Irukkura Emoji. Her lifelong quest for love and the ideal spouse is followed in the story, which was influenced by her love of film. The twist is that she always fails since she tries everything.
Ritu Varma described her episode as “a sweet and quirky story of a girl whose idea of romance comes from the films she’s watched growing up and how those expectations affect her romantic relationships” while speaking about her role in the show.
She added, “But if she finds the love of her life or not is what the story is all about. I could relate a lot to the character because I am a hopeless romantic in real life. I am a sucker for romance so I could connect a lot to the character. I had a blast shooting for it with the entire team and I hope everyone enjoys watching it
Modern Love Chennai, a film produced by Tyler Durden and Kino Fist, features six Indian film directors: Bharathiraja, Balaji Sakthivel, Rajumurugan, Krishnakumar Ramakumar, Akshay Sundher, and Thiagarajan Kumararaja.
Currently, Prime Video is broadcasting the anthology series.
