Mega Prince Varun Tej is set to return to the screen after six years since his famous lover boy role. After the big hit Toliprema, he starred in films like Gaddalakonda Ganesh, Gandeevadhari Arjuna, and Operation Valentine. His next film, Matka, directed by Karuna Kumar, is also a serious story.

There are few rumours that Varun Tej has agreed to a new project with director Vikram Sirikonda, who directed Ravi Teja‘s Touch Chesi Chudu, That movie was not very successful at the box office. Now he set another different project with Varun Tej. This film is said to be produced by Mythri Movie Makers with a large budget. Casting for this project is expected to start soon.

Matka’s production will begin a new schedule in Hyderabad on June 19, 2024. Actresses Nora Fatehi and Meenakshi Choudhary will play important roles alongside Varun Tej. Vyra Entertainments and SRT Entertainments are working together to produce this much-awaited film.
