Viswam, starring Gopichand and directed by Srinu Vaitla, was released today. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the “People Media Factory”, the film features Kavya Thapar as the female lead. The teaser and trailers were impressive.
Music is very important for the film, and while Chaitan usually delivers, “Viswam” didn’t have any fast beat songs. To fix this, the team released the song “Gunguru Gunguru,” composed by Bheems.
The song is well-received, with lyrics by Suresh Gangula and soulful singing by Bheems and Rohini. Gopichand and Kavya Thapar’s dance moves are also a highlight.
However, releasing such a good song just a day before the movie’s release was poor planning. If they had released it at least a week earlier, it could have helped create more buzz for the film.
