Kannada Sahasa Samrat, Vishnu Vardhan unfortunate demise before starting his 201st film, had his fans and common movie viewers mourning for his early death. He was one actor in South India who never shied away from taking risks on screen with his characters and enjoyed being a star who performs his own stunts on screen.
His films like AptaRakshaka, AptaMithran became Blockbusters in Kannada that ran for a year in the theatres. Right from the first film of his career he concentrated more on being an actor and a character rather than being a hero on the screen. His act in Malgudi Days as Swami ‘s father has immortalised the role in the eyes of many viewers.
He came into the industry at a time when, Kodi Ramakrishna, Ambarish, Chiranjeevi were coming up and his relation with these actors was something to remember. Especially Kodi Ramakrishna had a deep bond with him. So when the maverick director approached the man to be a part of his VFX spectacle, NagaBharanam, SivaNagam in Kannada. Vishnu Vardhan immediately accepted the proposal, but his sudden demise put the project on hold.
With the permission of his wife, famous actress and human rights activist, Bharati they recreated Vishnu Vardhan in the role of a warrior King which is very important for the story. The role of 15 mins required 300 days and 600 artists from Makuta to work on it for everyday to recreate him with every intricate detail of his body language and acting style. The total length of graphics used in this Divya Spandana starrer will be 58 mins. The film will be on the cards of director’s previous movies Devi, Ammoru, Arundhati. The movie will release this Friday on 14th October.
