After the success of 90s, many films and web series tried to recreate nostalgia but didn’t quite succeed.
Now, Aha is bringing a new original series, Hometown, based on the same theme. The trailer released today, promises a fun and emotional journey.
The story follows three friends in the late 2000s and early 2010s, capturing their innocence, curiosity, first love, and family bonds. The trailer is filled with humor, and the fresh cast adds charm.
Rajeev Kanakala and Jhansi play key roles, Rajeev’s character wants to send his son abroad, but the son has no interest in studying and prefers a different career path. Jhansi supports the boy in his choices.
Directed by Srikanth Palle and led by showrunner Naveen Medaram, Hometown is produced by MNOP and Amogha Arts. The series will premiere on Aha on April 4th.
