Vijayendra Prasad Makes A Strong Statement On Varanasi

Release date changes have become common in Indian cinema, with films often getting postponed due to production delays and pending work.

Even big-budget films are no exception. However, Rajamouli‘s upcoming film Varanasi has raised expectations, with many expecting a possible delay.

Now, Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad has surprised fans with his latest statement. Speaking at the Dad’s Little Friend event, he confirmed that Varanasi will release on April 7th, 2027.

His statement has given Mahesh Babu fans confidence about the release date. If Rajamouli sticks to the schedule, it will be a positive sign for the industry.

It will also encourage small filmmakers, who often struggle to secure release dates when big-budget films arrive.
